ScaleOut Software is excited to announce the release of a new four-part video series: Understanding ScaleOut Digital Twins™. This series explores the fundamentals of ScaleOut Digital Twins and demonstrates how to develop and deploy digital twin models for real-time monitoring and simulation. It shows how to use tools like widgets and queries to analyze real-time data, and also explores how the integration of AI and digital twins can improve AI responses and assist in real-time data analysis. Watch the full video series to see how ScaleOut Digital Twins offers breakthrough, in-memory computing technology for modeling, monitoring, and managing complex systems with many data sources.
Video 1: An Introduction to ScaleOut Digital Twins
See how real-time digital twins provide instant insights by monitoring live data from thousands of data sources. Learn how in-memory computing helps track and analyze conditions in real time, from detecting issues in vehicle fleets to preventing power grid failures. The video also covers ScaleOut Digital Twins’ advanced simulation capabilities for guiding decision-making, integration with machine learning, and open-source APIs for building digital twins.
Video 2: Develop and Deploy Digital Twin Models
Learn how to build, test, and deploy digital twin models with ease. This video provides a step-by-step guide for creating and deploying digital twin models using ScaleOut Digital Twins™. You'll learn how to build a model with C#, Java, or business rules, test it using the ScaleOut Digital Twins workbench, and deploy it on ScaleOut’s in-memory computing platform. The video illustrates the development process with a smart gas sensor model that processes telemetry from gas sensors and sends alerts for dangerous levels of natural gas. It covers defining state and message properties, implementing message processing, and testing the model. Finally, see how to deploy the model using the ScaleOut Digital Twins UI and connect it to messaging hubs like Kafka for live monitoring.
Video 3: Examine Real-Time Data with Widgets and Queries
Discover how to extract valuable insights from your real-time and simulation digital twin models using two powerful features: widgets and queries. Widgets, real-time charts that aggregate data from digital twin instances, can be customized to display key metrics such as incident counts by region. These dynamic visualizations refresh continuously to provide the latest data. Queries allow you to select specific instances and display results on tables or maps, with options to filter data and get continuous updates. See how to monitor critical systems like power grids, track status changes, and visualize data layers to identify emerging trends and specific issues.
Video 4: Integrating Digital Twins and AI
Lastly, learn how AI models can use real-time data from digital twins to improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations. With retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI models retrieve data from an external data source to enhance their responses. Using ScaleOut Digital Twins™ as the data source for RAG enables models to access live data, helping operations managers make well-informed decisions.
Additionally, AI models can help digital twins analyze live data and identify anomalies. The ScaleOut Digital Twins UI will soon integrate an AI assistant to automatically create queries and charts in response to user questions, and even create these visualizations autonomously, saving time and helping managers stay on top of emerging trends.
